Facebook has recently launched Bars. It is NPE Team’s second music application already — 10 months ago the studio launched the app Collab. Bars is an experimental app for rappers. The app provides the beats and enables you to create a minute-long video of your rapping. The feed of the app resembles Tik-Tok with its vertical video interface and two tabs: “Featured” and “New”.
Bars provides you with visual and studio-quality audio effects, including autotune. In the app, you can choose between the variety of the beats provided, write the lyrics, and make a video. After posting your video, you can receive a “fire” reaction from other users. During the registration, the app asks about your experience in rap: it will show a dictionary of automatically rhymed words for “beginner” and provide a freestyle mode for “advanced” users.
So far, Bar is launched as the invite-only beta version and is available in iOS App Store in the United States. The first videos in the app were uploaded by the members of the development team. However, you can already download the app, reserve a username you’d like to have, and register on the waiting list.
